This policy applies to consumers purchasing online from Your Electrics. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
1. Change of Mind Returns (Consumer Customers)
If you are a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
How to Cancel
To cancel your order, please notify us in writing by email or by completing our returns form, quoting your order or invoice number. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
Conditions of Return
You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. To qualify for a full refund:
- Items should be returned unused and in a resalable condition
- Original packaging should be included where possible
- You must take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession
If goods are returned with signs of use beyond normal inspection, we may make a deduction for any loss in value.
Refunds
- We will refund the price of the goods plus the cost of standard delivery
- Any premium delivery charges (e.g. next-day delivery) are non-refundable
- Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return
- Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect
2. Exclusions From Change of Mind Returns
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- Items made to your specifications or clearly personalised
- Special-order items clearly marked as non-returnable at the point of sale

3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

Full refund or replacement
Repair or replacement offered
If repair or replacement is unsuccessful, you may be entitled to a refund.
Where an item is confirmed faulty, we will:
- Refund the full purchase price
- Refund reasonable return postage costs
- Or provide a replacement at no additional cost
Statutory rights apply for up to 6 years from purchase (5 years in Scotland).
4. Manufacturer Warranties
Some products include a manufacturer’s warranty. These warranties are in addition to your statutory rights and do not replace them.
5. Business-to-Business Customers
If you are purchasing as a business, consumer cancellation rights do not apply.
Returns from business customers are accepted only by prior agreement and may be subject to:
- Restocking or handling fees
- Return carriage charges

Download and complete our returns form:
Complete the returns form in full, including your order or invoice number
Package items securely to prevent transit damage
Include the completed form inside the parcel
Returns sent without sufficient information may be delayed.
